Dwight Ligham, MD
Dr. Ligham has a master's degree in counseling and has ten years of experience working with the disabled in the capacity of vocational and functional rehabilitation prior to his attending medical school. He graduated from medical school cum laude in 1992 and completed his anesthesiology and pain medicine subspecialty training at Yale University. He is board certified in both anesthesiology and in Pain Management.
Dr. Ligham has earned numerous awards including the prestigious Merck Award for academic excellence. He was inducted into the medical honor society, AOA while a medical student. Dr. Ligham has been published in various subjects in pain medicine and has a special interest in spine related pain and the various forms of neuropathic pain.
He is interested in the relationship between pain, disability and vocational rehabilitation potential. Dr. Ligham blends these interests clinically through physician performed functional capacity evaluations which synthesize physical data with the medical history to develop realistic vocational goals in sustainable vocational settings.
Dr. Ligham is on staff at both Yale Hew Haven Hospital and at Middlesex Hospital. He has held leadership positions as a member of the Medical Board at the Hamden Surgery Center and as the Pain Management Section Chief at the Hospital of St. Raphael in New Haven, CT.
Dr. Ligham is an assistant Clinical Professor at Quinnipiac University Frank H. Netter School of Medicine.
Jon Lum, PA-C
Jon Lum is a graduate of the Trevecca Nazarene University Physician Assistant Program in Nashville, Tennessee. He is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants. He is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and The Connecticut Association of Physician Assistants. He has experience in many different aspects of medicine, from Newborn Intensive Care, Pediatrics, Internal medicine, Emergency Medicine and Rheumatology. He is a member of the Wyeth/Amgen Visiting Speakers' Bureau.
Bryant Meyer, MS, PA-C
Bryant Meyer completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Health Sciences at the James Madison University in Harrisonburg, Virginia, where she played Division 1 soccer. She graduated with her advanced Master's degree from Wagner College in 2009. She has completed Medications for Addiction Treatment (MAT) waiver training. Bryant has worked in sport, spine, and pain management for 11.5 years, previously in Florida and Rhode Island, and now in Connecticut. She is dedicated to providing high quality, compassionate care to her patients.
Alex Henry, PA-C
Alex Henry completed a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at the University of Connecticut, Storrs. Before completing her Master’s in Physician Assistant studies at Bay Path University, she sought out medical volunteer trips in both South Africa and Kenya. She has also completed her medication assisted treatment training (MAT). She is looking forward to integrating her varied experiences in physical therapy at Spaulding and MGH as well as her psychology background to the practice. She has tremendous respect and compassion for her patients and is committed to providing a holistic approach to care.
